ABA A Step At A Time Care (ASAT) is a parent-founded, clinician-led, outcomes-driven, and evidence-based provider of Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders in the New York City area and Connecticut. Location:

We are looking for a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or a BT close to certification who can take the exam promptly to start on the case within the next 2 weeks.

We are hiring for a few part-time afternoon in home positions:

MANHATTAN:

- Behavior Technician with strong skillset needed in zip code 10036:

• Monday: 2:30 – 7:30 PM
• Tuesday: 2:30 – 7:30 PM
• Thursday: 2:30 – 7:30 PM
• Friday: 2:30 – 7:30 PM

- Registered Behavior Technician (i.e., certified by the BACB) needed in zip code 10028:

• Monday: 2:30 – 5:30 PM (could start as early as 1 PM for 3 hrs. per day)
• Tuesday: 2:30 – 5:30 PM (could start as early as 1 PM for 3 hrs. per day)
• Wednesday: 2:30 – 5:30 PM (could start as early as 1 PM for 3 hrs. per day)
• Thursday: 2:30 – 5:30 PM (could start as early as 1 PM for 3 hrs. per day)
• Friday: 2:30 – 5:30 PM (could start as early as 1 PM for 3 hrs. per day)

THE BRONX:

- Behavior Technician needed in zip code 10463:

• Monday: 3:30 – 7:30 PM
• Tuesday: 3:30 – 7:30 PM
• Wednesday: 3:30 – 7:30 PM
• Thursday: 3:30 – 7:30 PM
• Friday: 3:30 – 7:30 PM

Candidates have to be able to commute to the client's home (Manhattan or The Bronx) and ready to start immediately or within 2 weeks.

Responsibilities:

o Conduct direct implementation of skill and behavior plans developed by BCBA and assist with the plan development when appropriate;

o Collect and record data accurately and efficiently;

o Train new and existing staff members in behavior-analytic strategies;

o Communicate clearly and effectively;

o Abide by the code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians;

o Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients;

o Continue professional development.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of autism and ABA;
• Experience in scope and sequence of early learning curriculum;
• Experience in building trust with patients, families, and other team members working in ABA or in other disciplines;
• RBT certification is mandatory.
